Dear Mommy (2004)

Dear Mommy is a short film about a young girl who avenges her mother in a most horrific way. The film was shot in an experimental 'wild camera' style, utilising the assets available on location to create a quasi-paranoid feeling, which suited the story very well.

Most of the film was shot in Leiden and Rotterdam (The Netherlands) and starred Ingrid Snijdewind in the main role, and Jesse de Blois and Inge van der Jagt in supporting roles. Original music was written by Jesse de Blois and translations were done by Floor van Ormondt.

The film has been awarded with several trophies at international film festivals.
